How do people expect to receive best answers for harsh, cruel insults on here?

I can't speak for others but not all of my answers are an attempt to be "best". Sometimes that's the case but sometimes I just feel like answering the question in whatever way strikes my fancy at the time. I take serious questions seriously and I take questions that I think are less than honest less seriously. I usually answer trolls with a straight answer but I don't feel like I have to. There's a wide range of motivations for questions so why not answer them in a diverse way as well?
