What happens if I put a tide pod in my gas tank?

This reminds me of a story that did the rounds when home computers were becoming common. A guy bought one and phones the tech helpline saying "the cup holder doesn't work". After a while ( and probably telling him to turn it on and off again), the tech guy realises he's talking about the CD drive . So he tells the customer to pack it all back into the box and take it back to the store. "So what do I tell them?",asks the customer. "Just tell them you're too f@cking stupid to own a computer" replies the tech guy.

If you put the pod into a full tank, nothing much will happen. The detergent will be sufficiently diluted for the engine to still run OK. If you put the pod into an almost empty tank the concentration of detergent will be high enough to stop the engine working. Then just fill the tank and turn the engine over until fresh fuel is pulled through and she'll fire up.

It the plastic. Should clog the fuel filter. As it dissolves. You Hope. Next remove fuel tank & clean. Clean fuel lines. Replace filters. I run 2 on my vehicle. Do to were I drive. You should add a extra one. With questions like this.
