Mosquitoes in Bogota? I was bitten!?

Hello! I hope you are all doing well. I am freaking out because I woke up and found two mosquito bites on my body. I also killed this in my room. Before I left for Bogota, I was told that mosquitoes do not live at this altitude and that I would not need to take malaria meds while in the capital. Now, of course, I am concerned as I have two bites on my body. I am also worried about other diseases such as Zika as my husband and I have been trying for a while. So, my question is what do I do now that I have been bitten? Should I see a doctor or begin malaria medication? Would that even help at this point? I apologize for all the questions, I am just rather freaked out. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
