Is 2 and half days enough to get enough done in Paris?

The louvre will take a day. Eiffel will be about half a day. You spend like an hour or two just waiting in line at each site. Those are the 2 most visited sites in Paris.

No. One week is barely enough to scratch the surface, Paris has so much to see.

I spend a week in Paris about every other year and have still only scratched the surface. It depends on what you want to do. If it's enough for you to see the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe in person, then you can stand and look at a lot of landmarks. If you actually want to experience Paris, you'll need longer. Plan some time to sit in a sidewalk cafe and people watch. Visit a market. Walk around and buy pizza from a stand to eat in a park. The Louvre is huge- either pick one exhibit to see or skip it and go the D-Orsay or one of the smaller museums like Rodin's House or the Jacquemart-Andre. Walk down the Champs-Elysees. Take a boat ride down the Seine just at sunset so that you come back up the river as the Eiffel Tower starts twinkling.

No, but if that is how much time you have then use travel guides to plan your trip so you get the most out of the 2 1/2 days.

I would say yes! You don't live so far of Paris after all.... Either way it depends what you want to do in this city...
