Wanting to go on cruise from Galveston and looking for best or least expensive options to and from Fort Worth?

Family is taking Galveston cruise and live in Fort Worth. Will probably get there day before ship leaves. What are best or least expensive options to get to and from. We are open to car/bus/train.

Go to the port website, which they surely have, and look at options about transit and parking. In Galveston I'd think they might have parking. Here in San Francisco there is NONE.

We went by car from McKinney. There is a large parking area not far from the dock and if you park farther away, they probably have a shuttle to take you to the ship. You can google parking in Galveston and call for info. You should do that now.

I went on a cruise from Galveston a few years back. There are a lot of parking garages near the cruise terminal that seemed reasonably priced.
