Does Royal Caribbean provide transportation to the excursions booked through them?

Yes and no. They arrange the excursions and those who provide the excursions provide the transportation. That is to say, the cruise lines do not have their own fleets of buses, shuttles, and such to move the people on the excursions. So yes the cruise lines ensure transportation is provided; but no they don't have their own fleets, the excursion providers provide the vehicles.

Cruise lines contract with excursion providers and get a piece of the action. They guarantee that the ship won't leave if the sponsored excursions are delayed in returning to the ship. If you go off on your own you are on your own.
