How is Brexit affecting Britain’s crown dependencies like Canada who are still under the reign of the Queen?

Canada is not a British dependency. If you want to talk about who is dependent on who, it is Britain who needed the empire more than the empire needed Britain from the early 20th century onward.

It's not. Canada is not a dependent and we are not under the reign of the Queen of England. FFS.. what is it gonna take to get you to feck off already?

Canada is not a Crown dependency. That title belongs only to the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. The 15 other countries where Elizabeth II is Queen are called the Commonwealth realms. They're all completely independent apart from sharing the Queen, so "dependency" is not the right word for them! So it's the same as any other non-EU country. It doesn't affect them at all, except that they will no longer trade with the UK on EU terms. Each of them and the UK will have to sort out their own trade deal, which can be just what they and the UK want without the rest of the EU having to agree. They can talk to us and not have to talk to Brussels. Of course having to do that with over 100 countries, or at least everywhere the UK does significant trade with, is a big job and that's why Theresa May set up a whole new Department of International Trade under Liam Fox to do it! Australia is in fact one of the first to do this. The Australian High Commissioner in the UK in 2016, Alexander Downer, loves the idea of Brexit and jumped in immediately after the referendum with "hey guys, let's talk trade!" So this has already been done and there's a brand new UK/Australia trade agreement all ready to go on Brexit day.

Only if trade is affected which may well be the case and that could have a knock on effect affecting other countries UK trades with. It may not all be bad however! Leaving the EU was a British decision however - and the Leave vote only marginally defeated the Remain vote at that. This has NOT YET HAPPENED either. And I suspect there'll be a lot more water under the bridge yet to come. The Queen has no voice in this - she doesn't get involved in politics in general although she does on occasion, make some pointed comments. She certainly expressed an opinion re Scotland breaking up with the United Kingdom!!

It isn't. at all. Canada has it's own Queen, and is not under the British one at all. While they are the same person, legally, the jobs are distinct, and separate, operating under different laws. Canada is under the Queen of Canada, and the UK is under the Queen of the UK - legally, two distinct things. And, the other "Commonwealth Realms," where the Queen is also Head of State. The one Crown was divided back in 1931, with the "Statute of Westminster." So, what the UK does with it's own internal politics has nothing whatsoever to do with Canada, and vice verso.

NONE. All the Union does, is force everyone involved to use the same valued money, and travel across member borders without passports. It's One World Union attempt has not and does not appear to affect this side of the world. Yet!

The coinage remains royal-faced and shiny. Feel free to worry if royals are replaced by familiar extra-wide Quebec buttocks.
