I think people are overreacting about how unsafe Australia is for women. The Australian government and the UN have both said that Australia has a horrendous problem with violence against women but it is a lot safer than 3rd world countries. Even when compared to developed countries it isn't that bad, out of the G20 they have the 8th worst rate of violence against women. Of course a lot could still be done to improve though. 1 in 5 women in Australia have been sexually assaulted which is staggering and totally unacceptable. One woman a week is murdered by a current or former partner so it's time to stop pointing fingers at India and time for Australians to address their own problems.

With African gangs free to do what they want in Melbourne there should definitely be a travel warning issued for there. It's like a travel warning was issued for Dubai recently because women who get raped there get charged with adultery for reporting the incident, likewise in Victoria African gang rampages are ignored by police or if you report a crime committed by a pack of them(they never operate alone) you get accused of being racist, I've heard of it happening before.

Oh heavens yes, they should hang posters up on every plane and boat heading to Australia. They should also put posters on every street corner in Australia, to remind the people who are already in Australia.
