I am a nearly 40 year old woman and I want my 40’s to be a good decade.

I lost my tennis strokes as a 15-year old, how can this happen? And has someone experienced the same? (maybe with another sport)?

I want to tryout for the tennis team but I haven't played it in years and I don't think I'm good at it at all? Should I still tryout?
