We still are if you are talking about Women's tennis, if you mean the men, it's hard to say and it depends on how you define 'tennis world power', if you mean get more than one player in the top 5, I think it's a ways off, if you mean have a US man win a grand slam tournament, that's hard to say but it probably won't happen until after Federer,Nadal & Djokovic retire.
