Need clue examples for a scuba diving surprise present . Any help ?

A trip on a dive boat is about $120 +/- A book on dive locations or dive stories. (I personally like to read the accident reports so I don't make the same mistakes) A bottle of Defogger (consumable supply) A good pair of dive gloves (they get torn up) A line cutter (to keep on his harness, I carry two cutting devices) A spare flashlight One of those little Dive Saver kits with an extra strap and snorkel keeper and stuff like that in it. Maybe talk to the guys at the dive shop and put one together for him. A micro fiber camp towell to dry off on the boat with. That's all I can come up with at 630 am but if I think of anything else I'll add it.
