Most aren't. They just get more scrutiny by police because they live in close proximity to other people and they cannot afford good lawyers to get them off.

Your answer is in your question. They are uneducated. And as uneducated people, they are ignorant to many things, including the law. They often ignorant to the fact that violence carries legal ramifications. They don't seem to realize that they can't just punch someone who makes them angry as it constitutes assault. As a result, many of them have assault charges on their record, thus limiting their employment opportunities and therefore keeping them poor.

The well off can hide their violence. People don't believe victims of domestic violence by the wealthy and they have good lawyers to get them off. But also I would agree with the person who said it's human nature when people feel defeated or invalidated to strike back in some way. The educated and wealthy have other ways to strike back when they feel invalidated.

They are more likely to feel frustrated, disappointed, threatened, and/or desperate. They feel they have less to lose and are less likely to know how better to deal with those feelings. The other side of the matter is that more impulsive and antisocial people are less likely to become educated and wealthy. The same could be said of people with personality disorders or trauma. It's a bit of a vicious cycle that way.

I don't know. I am poor and very uneducated and if I have to be I guess I can get violent in ways that get my message across. Ignorant ways like using emotions and anger and picking my nose because I can't get my way. Things like that could be and should have been improved through education. But I guess I was not the educatable type.

Hello, I add, the inverse is the true, in many times poor persons are the good, and the wisdom is not by educational degrees from the institutes, where it depend on person clever himself, as he can buy book about 7 dollars and study it alone without institutes, where we interested about the science itself but not for the certificates, where the educational degrees are often not natural and directed by bad politics, but some certificates are good by god caring. thus the science from a god is for justifications and of course will alter the person to be good... violence sometimes depend on Primitiveness health, in other hands I am not social much where I Shame from anothers although my personality is strong, and I seek usually for few relations but long lasting, in written discussion I be talk much, but in the reality I speak very little. we the Palestinians memorize our country families names, it is habit of us along the history where we love our race.. if you want to learn from that and memorize your country families names.

Poverty increases the hatred in their minds and make them indulge in violent activities when they face disappointments, insults and difficulties in their lives. You're absolutely right. There is a CORRELATION between violence and low socioeconomic status. However, correlation doesn't equal causation, so not ALL poor and uneducated people have violent tendencies. If that's the case, then red states are more violent.
