I am a girl, how do I convince my mum to let me hang out with boys?

So I have this best friend, his name is Jason. We are JUST FRIENDS. So my mum let me hang out with my other friend, his name is Ayden, and my mum once saw Jason and I hug at a dance as a greeting to each other, and now she won't let me hang out with him. How do I convince my mum to let me hang out with Jason? He's one of my only friends and I really just want to hang out with him. Btw my mum is stubborn, so how do I convince her? Btw I am 14 years old if that helps with anything, and another major thing is JASON IS GAY so we wouldn't do anything weird.
