I hate food stamps and public assistance. How do I tell off my parents?
I’m a conservative republican who believes that food stamps and other assistance should be abolished. I’m also a parent of one. I’m confident in being able to support myself and my child on my own as I make a great income. My parents are pressuring me to take up food stamps and public assistance because I have a child. How do I tell them off. I refuse to go on welfare. Are they jealous of me that I don’t need it??

You sure are confused. You can't get public assistance or food stamps if you have a good income.

If you make a “great income” you will not qualify for public assistance. Mic drop.
