Question about moose?
Why are they so huge? I read that today a moose is like 7-10 feet and weigh about 1,500 pounds (male) and 750... .(female) I thought moose were like the size of deer

It's because they're basically unchanged from caveman times. Out of all the large species from prehistory (cave bears, cave lions, wooly mammoths), moose just happened to survive, probably because they're hard to kill.
