Is the London in the UK more famous and important internationally than the one in Canada?
David S
Yes London in the U.K. has a population of over 6 million and is an international centre for business, culture and tourism. London in Ontario population has a population of half a million and apart from a distinguished university is a very ordinary rather dull city

Of course it is.

Of course. If nothing else, London UK is a very important financial centre - London Ontario not so much!!!

Any city or place anywhere in the world with the name London is named after London, the capital city of the UK. That name has been around since Roman times (originally Londinium). That is over 1500 years before any colonisation of distant parts of the world by English/British people. You really need to get your school to tell you a little bit about world history.

I say yes
