Is is OK to use Australasia as a continent over Australia? Or Oceania over both?
If Australia is regarded as a continent, major countries like New Zealand and Papua New Guinea will be left without a continent. And when Oceania is used, it will include some Asian Islands that lie in the pacific.

Australia is the Name of the Continent. Places like New Zealand and PNG are Islands and don't have to belong to a Continent. Oceania is NOT a Continent. It is an AREA.
