since it is almost certainly being used by big business, what difference would this make? to find out, you'll likely have to pore over detailed budget documents and procurement orders

LOL. let's say your rant has something to it. Who are you going to prove it to if its the government doing this heinous activity? You would be in deep trouble if you had a clue, but luckily you don't. It is the private companies you deal with that are invading your privacy, no question, no Maybe.
