What if everything was made out of cotton?

If you think about it, with the kind of technology they have, they creat where every material was made out of cotton or soft tissue that yet couldn't easily tear through. But my main point is this would decrease the amount of noises and sounds people make when they work. For example. Making coffee when ur partners sleeping on the couch. You wouldn't have to worry about waking them up. Because cotton materials are more quiet. This kind of thing will probably be too complicated to ever exist. But just thought I'd share the thought
