Almost all horses breed … however, some people have horses that they use for only breeding. You CAN ride horses that breed. Learn all you can about this … especially being around a stud horse.

Brood mares yes until they get close to delivering. Stallions no. People we ride stallion do not have them in breeding programs generally. If they are being bred they become very very dangerous to ride
