Is it normal for a tooth beside a tooth extraction to be loose?
Had a tooth pulled about an hour ago. The tooth next to it is now slightly loose. Is this normal? It’s also extremely sore to touch

Teeth are held in by ligaments, when a tooth is extracted the ligament is stretched and broken loose with a tool called an elevator. This can cause the teeth next to it to become loose. What was the reason for the extraction? IF it was due to an abscess, the swelling from the abscess can cause other teeth to become loose. An extraction is a very traumatic event for anyones mouth.
