Architecture model making with laser cutter?

I am an architecture student and basswood model making takes me so much time with a blade or a knife, and most of the cuts don't come out as clean as I want them to be Does anybody know about a laser cutter that I can buy to make my models cleaner and easier to build? Thanks!
