Am I too young for anyone to listen to me?

I'm 14, and through the past year I learned a lot. I want to be a motivational speaker (as a hobby), because not a lot of people go through what I did at such young an age. I'm just afraid that I won't get opportunities, and people won't listen to be because I'm younger than them. Any tips or advice? I'm 14, and through the past year I learned a lot. "because not a lot of people go through what I did at such young an age." Yes. Yes, they have. If you want to turn your experience into a positive message to share, good for you, but don't imagine that other young people haven't gone through the same or worse, and have succeeded in life in spite of their history. So, look for opportunities to practice speaking in front of an audience. Join the Forensics team at high school (that's the real name for the debate team). Join Key Club. Attend meetings an listen to other speakers, so you learn good techniques, and how to avoid poor speaking habits. Get some practice.

People in general tend to think that anyone under age 18 is too young to listen to, for the simple fact they are minors, but in reality, even a three year old could be listened to, if only people would listen. (Sometimes, even three year olds say the darndest things, but the truest things). So, no, you're not too young to be listened to.

The more you speak the more it goes bad. The more you loose. May all do so much more good karma right now.
