If you want something really unusual, try this rabbit ragu! 1 rabbit cut into 6-8 pieces, bone in (don't want to cut through the tiny bones) salt and pepper 1/4 to 1/3 cup pancetta or thick sliced bacon olive oil dollop of anchovy paste (optional - adds umami) 1 cup diced onion (~1 medium) 1/2 cup diced carrot (~ 2) 1/2 cup diced celery(~ 2 stalks) Pinch of red-pepper flakes 1 tbs minced garlic 1 tbs tomato paste 1 1/2 cups dry red wine 1 cup seeded, chopped canned San Marzano tomatoes 1 cup chicken broth sage sprigs thyme sprigs rosemary sprigs oregano sprigs 2 bay leaves 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces Pat the rabbit pieces dry and season with salt and pepper. In a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, add the oil and brown the pieces, working in batches if needed to avoid crowding. Transfer to a plate. Cook the pancetta, transfer in with rabbit. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the anchovy paste and stir it in. Add the onion, carrots and celery stirring constantly until caramelized, about 30 minutes. Then add the red-pepper flakes, garlic and tomato paste, stirring for another minute. Deglaze the pan with the wine, turn the heat to high and boil to burn off the alcohol, about 4 minutes. Add the tomatoes, broth, and herbs. Return the rabbit pieces to the pot, spacing them evenly so they are partly covered by the liquid. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat and simmer, covered, until the rabbit is falling off the bone, about 2 hours. Turn the pieces at least once. Turn off the heat and discard the herbs and bay leaves. Remove the rabbit from the sauce and let cool; then pull the meat from the bones (this is the time consuming part and the reason you don't want to cut the little bones up). Shred some pieces and leave others large. Return the meat to the pan and simmer the sauce until thickened, 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in the butter, piece by piece. Season to taste with salt and pepper. The picture is everything in before it cooks for a few hours.

I have never used a recipe in my life for spaghetti. I season ground meat and brown it well. I add tomato paste, water, onions, garlic, oregano or Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to taste and simmer while the pasta is cooking. Done.

1 lb 91/9 Lean Ground Hamburger Meat 1 Green Bell Pepper 1 small onion 5-7 white mushrooms 1 packet-Thick & Zesty spaghetti sauce mix(powder) 3-4 small cans of tomato sauce(experiment with different flavors; ex:garlic or basil & oregano) Whole wheat spaghetti noodles Directions Begin browning the hamburger meat. While that is going, finely chop the bell pepper and onion, then add to the hamburger meat. Start chopping the mushrooms as your meat is cooking. Once meat is done and vegetables have begun to soften, add the tomato sauce and powder spaghetti mix. Add a little water accordingly, then pour in the mushrooms. Simmer at least an hour(if you have the time, will be alright for 45 minutes). Boil noodles, follow directions on package. Serve and enjoy. 1 jar good spaghetti sauce. 1 jar medium Mexican stile chucky salsa. Or about 1/4 to 1/3rd salsa. 1 clove large garlic. Sliced thin & chopped, 1 sweet pepper medium, 1 onion chopped red medium, 1/2 kilo ground very lean salted water buffalo browned. Beef may be substitute or fish, squid, cuttle fish, goat, pork or a mix.. Large sprinkle in of Ittalian seasoning. Stir together let set. Other spice can be added to taste. Like hot sauce. 2 hours slow heat to low boil. Fix spaghetti. Set out shredded cheese. Cleaned chopped cuttle fish or squid is very good in it

For the sauce I use a 2 to 1 ratio of ground beef to pork sausage. I prefer thick spaghetti.

Cooked spaghetti noodles 1 tbsp butter Italian dressing Shredded Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese Combine the butter with the noodles as soon as they are done being drained so the butter melts into the noodles. Add as much or as little dressing as you like and top with however much cheese you want. Mix it all up and enjoy!

Saute up some diced onion in olive oil. When partly transparent, add minced garlic. Crumble raw ground beef into the onion/garlic and fry until it is cooked through. Open a bottle of "Classico" spaghetti sauce (either "Tomato & Basil" or "Red Wine & Herb"). Empty the bottle into a sauce pan and heat slowly, stirring often so it doesn't burn. When the meat mixture is done, add it to the sauce but use a slotted spoon so your aren't adding a lot of the meat-grease. Simmer long enough, stirring frequently, to allow the meat to absorb the sauce flavors. Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles with grated cheddar cheese on the side to top each plateful (this is an important addition).

Meat, vegetarian, fish, seafood? Spaghetti sauce or any dish with spaghetti as secondary? If sauce, red (tomato based), white (cream based) or something else (like carbonara)? How much time you have for preparation (a proper bolognese e.g. will need to simmer for several hours)? -- Just for fun: the German hobby cooking site chefkoch.de lists 5936 receipes under "Spaghetti"

You don't make spaghetti, unless you're actually making the pasta and cutting it up into spaghetti. You COOK it.
