Solar panels give power for about 20 to 30 years. Batteries last 3 to 5 years. The DSP converts the DC current into sine wave ac at the required voltage. The system is not up to the mark. Power from the sun fluctuates. Current sensors and relays to distribute output power according to the input power has not been properly developed, as a result the batteries drain excessively and do not serve well. SJRTC: For a 3 kVA DSP sine wave power supply unit, we did suggest sensors to activate relays to increase or decrease power in steps of 50 watts or 100 watts so that output matches input and the battery may be maintained at 13.33 volts through the day. This needs to be incorporated by the industry.
