How can I recycle CD both new and used for computer use?

There are plastics companies that will chip them to make new items but the main problem is getting enough of them together to make it worthwhile. If you have a lot or are in a position to collect them then it may be worth it. The same is true for any plastics items that you can collect a quantity of as there are recycling companies popping up to process this recycled material either into new products themselves or sell it as chips or pellets to others that do use it.
