Do you think there will come a time when the only animals on the planet will be farm animals kept for food and pets?
Arron
Yes, we're moving rapidly towards that scenario, 60% of wildlife populations have been wiped out since 1970 because of human activity: https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2018/oct/30/humanity-wiped-out-animals-since-1970-major-report-finds

If we do that kind of damage to the environment, humans will become extinct before all the other animals are gone.

oh no i think the bottom would fall out of our whole modern civilization thing way before we reached that point

Pretty much every animal provides something for us.

At this rate for sure.

No. Farm animals will revolt against mankind, and revert to wild creatures. Pets will be kept as food.

Nope. We either have a lot of biodiversity OR pretty much every higher species will be extinct. I am thinking extinction.

No. Although global population is growing it is mainly due to longer life expectancy, actually fertility rates have been cut in half since 1950. Eventually we will have a declining population and wont need so much farm land. https://www.theweek.co.uk/96241/why-global-fertility-is-in-decline
