Christians can the Holy Spirit ever bring physical manifestations such as a rush of love and peace in the chest?
lili
Yes. His witness is principally spiritual, but it can spill over into the physical as well.

Yes! God lets the people experience Who HE is [John 14:21] -- Each of us, is called by God to experience the indwelling presence of the Spirit ‘in a conscious and perceptible way.’ Trust me on this one... Listen, every born-again Christian is empowered by the Holy Spirit and is to a lesser/greater extent involved in 'Supernatural' activity. We are all in the midst of spiritual warfare, and we can all attest to have experienced the wonderful manifestations of God's power: transformation, miracles, healing, deliverance, and so on... The Holy Spirit develops His 'fruit' and 'gifts' in our lives to achieve the desired outcome.
TRUE BEYOND BELIEF
A touch from the Holy Spirit can give one many wonderful warming or uplifting experiences at different times and places. Sometimes these experiences are so strong that they seem physical -but why seek to describe them? The thing is that they are very real and very wonderful. Sometimes a non-believer may have a wonderful experience of God's Love and even experience the healing of a disease, it is more likely to happen within a group of true believers who are praying and worshipping God. This is God at work to enable a doubter to believe and experience the birth of faith!

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"

A rush of love and peace isn't a physical manifestation.

No - the holy spirit is imaginary. Grow up!

No. Holy spirit is not given to a non believer. True religion is not an emotional experience. It is based on taking in an accurate knowledge of the truth, using logic and reason. (1 Timothy 2:3, 4; Romans 12:1, 2)

Right, and I am the king of Prussia. No really look it up.

Absolutely. The sense of oneness is extreme. I have had that experience every time I can sense His presence whether that is when reading a passage of Scripture or while praying.
Shiksa Genius
Certainly it would not happen AGAINST the will of God, but I don't understand why you have to know.
David
Sure, why not?
