No such thing as the trinity. The New Catholic Encyclopedia says: The doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not taught in the Old Testament. The Blessed Trinity says: The dogma of the Blessed Trinity is a mystery It cannot be proved by reason . It cannot even be proved to be possible. The impression could arise that the Trinitarian dogma is in the last analysis a late 4th-century invention. In a sense, this is true. Funny enough, people try to describe all kinds of ways to explain it. But strangely enough, it isn't a Bible teaching. The scriptures point out that Jesus and Jehovah God aren't the same being, but have a father-son relationship. While Jesus was on Earth, Jehovah spoke on more than 1 occasion and stated Jesus was His son. (Matthew 3:13-17; Mark 9:2-7) Also Jesus was known for never putting himself on equal grounds with Jehovah God. (Philippians 2:5-6)
