A question about degrees?
Why is it that when some people graduate from college with either a master's or bachelor's and they try to find a job, they don't get the offer because of being too overqualified or for some other reason ? What does that mean?

That doesn't happen these days nearly as much as it did 20 or 30 or 40 years ago. Overqualified means you are overqualified academically, but you may not be over qualified in terms of skills or job or life experience. There are multiple reasons you may not be offered job, including the people who you have worked with just do not like you. Just because you ha e one or more college degrees does not mean you have the knowledge or training a specific job requires.
