apply to join the Air National Guard. If they take you, they will decide whether you are a good candidate for flight training.

i would just try to get one and see and then you'll know if its hard to get one or not

I know a man who is currently a pilot for a major airline. He started taking lessons at an airfield near his college. He traded them work around the place for the lessons- sweeping, painting, etc. Then he got a job with one of the small, express airlines, which was bought by a bigger airline, which merged with one of the biggest, and now he make major money on international routes.
