😄 tacos are an American food. Whatever you eat in Mexico, they're not authentic American tacos.

Nope. There are so many different tacos in Mexico & these are the fillings I can think of off-hand: sesos (brains. ew, got that out of the way, lol), barbacoa (steamed beef), asada (steak), picadillo (ground beef), aguacate (avocado), pollo (chicken), chile relleno (cheese stuffed battered & fried poblano pepper), al pastor (beef & pork, very often made with pineapple & cooked on a spit), carnitas (delicious pork), pescado (fish), chorizo (spicy Mexican sausage), & yes, lengua (tongue).
