A pork schnitzel with potato salad and a good German beer. Strangely the best schnitzel I've ever had was at German Restaurant in Thailand. Yum (burp, pardon)

Yes. I was reared in a community with 90% German ancestry. My childhood memories are associated. I later was stationed in Germany as a U.S.A. soldier. I still crave sauerkraut and pork and prepare it.

Some German food can be marketed to certain markets. However, some if it is so foreign to really take off. Also some German food is very similar or the exact same thing as Kosher. The German Deli and Kosher Deli is unfortunately falling out of favor these days. I can't understand why. I could never get tired of biscuit sandwiches
