Visa overstayers do not stay to live. Why would a Canadian stay here when Canada is as livable. Why would an Asian Chinese with a PhD...?

That's likely very typical of all of Latin America. Out of 521,090 who crossed the border illegally, many live here permanently. I happen to know they go back & return to the U.S. with almost no compunction. .
