How can I upgrade my TV?

I plan on getting a great TV and want to get all the bells and whistles but the only thing I am familiar with is a home theater system. What else is out there in terms of "below and whistles"? Thanks! How do yu make a TV 3d? *"bells and whistles" *How do you make a TV 3D?

In order: 1. There is no way for "you" to "make" a TV 3D. A TV can "be" 3D ONLY if it was Designed to be 3D. Home 3D has come and gone. 2. The term "bells and whistles" is a colloquial reference to features, many of which are useless or nearly so. Be particularly careful about "automatic" and "dynamic" video processing. Most of those features do things to the image that should Not be done. The best way to get a good image is by shutting off as many of the video features as possible and then calibrating the gray scale. There are DVDs and BDs ($20 to $50) that will help you do it yourself, or you could pay a pro $300 or more to do it. I bought a disc. 3. See # 1 again.
