The only "electrical connection" a satellite dish should have (assuming it is for something like DirecTV or Dish) is a proper ground. These dishes have no need for a tilt motor. The satellite receiver (channel changer connected to the TV) will need 110v power (in North America) and can use the same power source as the TV.
