Can i managa w/o headphones?

the earphones/headphones are so expensive where i live. i dont have friends, and i dont plan to have some, i need earphones almost. for 12 years theres not a single day that i didnt wear it outside. music is my life. but money is in the way of music. i dont own a car, so i need public transportation. how can i not be bored for long hours without earphones???? because im not rich and i cant afford a pair of earphones....
