I have a Lepy LP-808 2channel amp, Phillips subwoofer and a Yamaha htr-5940 receiver.?

I was trying to power the subwoofer by connecting it to the lepy lp-808 amp and then using rca to my receiver since my receiver has subwoofer output, no sound what do I do now.

Try connecting the reciever to an AC direct outlet and do the same thing again
