Can you use a gaming headset to watch movies and listen to music on your computer?

A Gaming Headset is just headphones with a mic included... so if you're having problems connecting a pair of wireless headphones, you'll likely have issues with connecting a gaming headset. Before you attempt, double-check your wireless headphones / headset for a critical item: Does it include a USB Dongle OR does it run on BlueTooth? If the wireless headphones / headset includes a USB Dongle, you will need to connect it to your computer & wait for the drivers to install (this generally takes about 2 minutes, assuming you have a good internet connection) before using it. If the wireless headphones / headset utilizes Bluetooth, make sure your computer has Bluetooth support in the first place. While most modern laptops will include this (bundled with the WiFi card), a fair number of desktop systems may NOT... which may require purchasing a Bluetooth adapter to add this support. Second, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your computer as it can be turned off (this is typically done to save power). Finally, know HOW to get your headphones / headset into "pairing mode" (aka "syncing")... even if they were synced up before, it's very possible that it can get desynced unintentionally. If the headset / headphones use a dongle, check the manufacturer for a utility program for this. I will note that Bluetooth can be a bit finicky, so you may need to reboot BOTH your computer & headset / headphones if repeated attempts fail. Hope this helps!
