Do a search for what's available on websites like Ebay and Banggood. There are a lot of different models of spy cameras with many variations of size, function, and performance. There are also spy cameras hidden in clocks, teddy bears, books, and so on. It could be as simple as setting up a web cam you may already have, along with motion capture software that snaps pictures or records video when it detects motion. (I once did that many years ago when living with a roommate I couldn't trust.) If you do that you'll have to hide the power light on the front of the camera so it doesn't look like it's on, and keep the computer locked so nobody can get on it and delete photos, close the software, etc.
