Can DVD-RW drives burn CD-R drives?
I tried to burn a cd-r disk for music and it kept saying that there was an error and it couldnt burn it. I tried different softwares still the same results.

Yes it should be able to, just make sure that the CD-R hasn't already been written to, you can check this by looking at the back of the desk, it should be all the same color, if you see a secondary color (usually blue or purple) in some spots and not in others it means it's already been written to. What error are you getting specifically?
