How do I access and delete $RECYCLE.BIN files from my flash drive?

I have a SanDisk Cruzer Blade 8GB flash drive that I use in my car to play music. My factory head unit reads a " $RECYCLE.BIN " folder on the drive, and plays about 10 songs from it, but I can't find the songs/folder when I connect the drive to a computer. How do I get rid of them?
