I would stay as far behind that driver as I possibly could. I wouldn't try to pass him, because he might serve into me while I was trying to go around him. You never know WHAT an impaired driver is likely to do.

We are sharing the public roads... ALL other drivers are suspected to be impaired... It is impossible for them to break the laws of physics... I am not impaired and I am able to see the other drivers... Hence I can see and avoid the idiots, and I am quite safe. If you are afraid, it is because you are an impaired driver and should be off the road. (Actually, the impaired drivers don't know they are, don't watch, don't dodge, and that is why there are "accidents.")
