SHOULD I BE WORRIED? GAS SPILLAGE!?

So I paid $35 for gas to fill up my tank, when the amount was 34.7ish it clicked.... I should've stopped there ,but my as$ wanted to get the full values worth.. So I kept pumping and click after click it eventually reached 35. But when it did i heard some gas spill under my car! Right below the gas tank... After I drove off and reached my house I checked for leakage , but there was none... what happened? Car is a 2015 Dodge Charger. Thx for readin.
