Can i keep driving with a broken motor mount?
don r
The mount is to keep the engine from shifting around. Rattling is only a nuisance, but if the engine moves too much it can tear up the other motor mounts or even pull against the shifter so it pulls to the wrong gear or pops out of gear. The car drove one way as you took it to the shop. Now, since you *know* the motor mount is worn out, that doesn't magically make it worse, but in time it will get worse and nobody can say how long that takes. The motor WILL NOT fall out. Fix it as soon as you can though.

The engine torques as you drive it. The harder to push the engine (More RPMS) or the more strain you put on it (Going up a steep hill) the more it torques. The worst case is you bust more of the mounts loose and the engine torques and does some real damage, such as putting a hole into the radiator, binding up your suspension or steering, etc. If you drive it real gently, no jack rabbit starts from the lights, no hot rodding, no high RPMs, you should be able to go a week or two before something bad happens. But I would get it fixed.

Yes but you need to take off very slowly. No hard acceleration. Get it fixed when you can.
.
just hope vibration does not break more mounts for motor
Ron
yes
arther
you can but something else will break. Don't complain when the fan hits the radiator or the rest of the mounts break.

Sure, but be careful on corners because your engine will tip.
