Toyota 86?

Who says a 205 HP car the size of a Corolla is pretty slow? I drove my 120 HP Corolla through the California Grapevine at 105 mph, so I'm surprised at your description. I'd have to drive an 86 to compare it. It may be not as fast as many cars with more power. Go buy a HellCat, Vette, Viper, Ford GT....

Nice looking. Something to cruise around and modify if that is your goal. They are talking about a replacement model since the current has been around for a while. The other options are hot hatches ie VW GTI. Hyundai released the Veloster N. I'm waiting for the Elantra GT N (not N line; N Performance) .

A car from 1986 aka a car that's 32 years old? My thought is that if that is all you can afford, go for it, but if you CAN afford more, go with something newer. ps Toyota makes (and has since the 1950s) several models of vehicle. Just "any old Toyota" or a specific model?

People talk about how long those old Japanese cars last, but you never know how much money was put into keeping it running. They're not meant to last FOREVER, you know. I would find something newer.
