They'll keep the Mustang and the hatchback/crossover version of the Focus. The rest of the passenger cars are on their way out in favor of the more profitable SUV and truck lines.

All models eventually get discontinued. Just as the Focus replaced the Escort and the Mondeo replaced the Cortina. The Focus has now been around for a few model generations so it won’t be surprising if Ford mark a completely redesigned replacement which is likely to be electric or a petrol-electric hybrid with a totally new name. Or get clever resurrecting the old name such as eScort.
