Who was the worst GA passenger you ever had and why? How did you cope with him/her?

My mother in law, did you check the oil, do we have enough gas, is this thing safe? As we took off, I hit my hand on the door and said... oh my gosh we just hit a duck! I hope we are going to be ok. A few minutes later I dropped the throttle and acted like we just lost our engine... then banged on the glareshield as I brought the throttle up. That was the last time she asked to fly.

A workmate who I thought I knew well enough , but was wrong. We arrived at our destination airport and the bar in the restaurant was still open. After his third beer he began to get "silly" and I was beginning to get concerned about the fog that was in the wx forecast. Took me longer then I expected to convince him it was time to "beat feet" for home. I was forced to contemplate a plan if he began to get even " sillier" in the cramped cockpit of that C-182. Every time ATC would call out a traffic advisory , he'd reach for the mic and want to talk instead of me. Other then that the flight home was mostly un-eventful. It could have been a lot worse.

I never did, but a pilot on a NAB gave my dad a "bagger" during WWII. He deliberately tried to make my old man airsick. Dad never accepted a flight in anything But a PBY/PBM or C-47, again. Too bad I never heard what plane it was--maybe a Texan ? He is gone, now.

I took off with my father-in-Law in the right seat. I should have known better. I took him by auto overthe Golden gate bridge and he hid on the floor
