Amount is on your bill of sale. It is VERY unlikely it will do you any good on your income tax though. only if you itemize and deduct sales tax instead of state and local income taxes.

You look at the contract and title paperwork that you signed when you bought it.

Get a copy of what from whom? You were already given the necessary paperwork. Not sure anyone else is obligated to provide you copies.

It's on the paper you get when you bought it. Or see if the company you bought it from has a copy.
