Can my real estate agent sue me for me not being able to show my house?

Its possible, depends on the contract between you.
Judy

Without more details, it's impossible to say. However, if you have listing agreement with agent/broker, I'm sure it states that you will allow the home to be shown. If you don't allow, then you are in default of the contract - so yes, they could sue. However, in almost all cases, the broker/agent would end the agreement and move forward.
Slumlord
In theory they maybe could but they aren't going to. Don't care what they implied when they talked to you, no agent would be dumb enough to sue a client for this.

No. You can take your property off the market any time you want. You just cannot list it with another company until your contract with the first company expires. Technically, you are still under contract and technically, the company (not the agent) can bill you for advertising, but it's extremely rare for a company to do that. Their reputation in the market is everything, and word gets around quickly. 'I had to take my house off the market due to personal reasons and Company X tried to charge me for advertising.' Company X will see a sharp drop in business.

Why were you not able to show the house? Whether or not they can sue you will depend on whether the lawyer sees enough monetary gain.
Tavy
NO and they won't. Suing is not free, they are not going to pay out for Lawyers are they, and it will damage their reputation.

i dont think so, if youre worried about it just show your house

Generally, no. Unless you breached the contact and they had damages. When they represent you, there is no guaranty that the house will sell at all.
